SANXEMAN D [RING the couse of an investigation into the manner of 1)inding of vit.amin B12 to serum protein,’ it. was observed that the vitamin B12 serum concentrations in some cases of leukemia was greatly above the normal range. This has also been noted by 11055.2 Because the abnormally high serum (‘Oticentratioiss have been so consistent in certain types of leukemia, it ‘as decided to investigate the phemsomenon more completely. The ability of these sera to 1)ind added crystalline vitamin B12 in vitro amid the location of the vitamins in sera fract ionated by paper electrophoresis were studied.
